Can F-Source help with the assembly of mass production parts?
F-Source can assist with basic mechanical structure assembly.
However, considering our capacity and transportation costs, we will need to evaluate whether to provide assembly services depending on your project. -
What kinds of material options do you have for 3D printing?
We mainly use SLA, but if you have any other material needs, please feel free to discuss them with us. -
Is F-Source capable of providing assistance in the process of product mass production?
F-Source is able to undertake the mold machining and injection molding for mass production of mechanical components based on customer requirements.
However, the actual feasibility needs to be evaluated in accordance with the complexity of the product and the required production quantity. -
What is the standard quotation process and how do I start a project?
Once the customer provides the file, F-Source will provide a formal quotation and machining remarks for reference.
If you want to kick-off the project, please provide a formal PO and pay the specified deposit, as marked on the quotation.
We will arrange the manufacturing schedule and provide estimated lead time after receiving the PO and deposit. -
What 3D CAD file formats do you accept?
We mainly accept CAD files in STP format. -
How long does it take to receive a formal quotation?
If we have received the complete CAD files and CMF definition, it usually takes around 1-2 business days for the quotation process.
But more time may be required depending on the complexity and quantity of the project.

What are the shipping options?
Mainly overnight FedEx delivery. The freight will be provided after order confirmation.
Customers can also specify their preferred shipping method. -
What are the material options?
The most commonly used plastics are ABS, PP, PC, POM, PMMA, etc.
For the metal parts, AL&SUS are frequently used, while other materials can be customized according to customer needs. -
What are the payment methods available for F-Source?
We currently only accept wire transfers and will be adding credit card payment services soon.
